PiinkMyst may also be accessed by using other irc clients.  For window users, the most popular and recommended client is from http://www.mirc.com/.  Once mirc loaded and installed, you will need to set up the client with the irc server information.  Click on File/Options to open up the configuration window.  Click on the Connect category.  Enter a nickname and alternative nick for yourself.   You should see an Add button in the upper right corner and click on it.  You should see an Add server window pop up.
Add in the following information:

 Description: Pinkmyst
IRC Server: irc.pinkmyst.com        (Or any of the other pinkmyst servers)
 Port(s)       : 6667

Finish by clicking the Add button on the Add server window.   Then click the OK button on the mIRC Options window.   To connect to the server, click on the far left icon just under File.  You should see the client connecting to the server.  In the Status window within the mIRC frame, type /join #transgender and a channel chat window should pop up.  If at any point you need help setting up mIRC, enter PinkMyst with one of the web clients and ask around in the #transgender channel.   Someone there should be able to help out.

Other notes: PinkMyst network is not limited to just one chat channel such as #transgender.  Users are free at any time to create other channels.  In the 'Status' window within the mIRC frame, type /join #somechannelname.  The '#' is required before the new name of the channel.
